Journey adds a Baby to the family

Jonathan Cain of The Baby's became Journey's Baby.

In 1980 Jonathan Cain replaced Gregg Rolie as keyboard player when Gregg left the band.

Jonathan was born Jonathan Leonard Friga on February 26, 1950.

In 1981 The Journey Force sent these Post Cards out to their members...

"And The Band Played On" Live in Passaic, New Jersey on June 10, 1978

At The Capital Center in Passaic New Jersey on June 10, 1978 Journey got up on stage a bit earlier than expected.

This concert was broadcast live through a radio station which wasn't quite ready for the band to go on stage. An excellent concert altogether which lasted 1 1/2 hours long

This audio clip here is a very rare recording of the confusion caused between the radio station and the band when Journey takes the stage to perform the first song of the night, "La Do Da"...

Journey Tour Book 1979, The Evolution comes to an end

Evolution was the fifth studio album by Journey and the second album to feature Steve Perry on Vocals.

Evolution was recorded at Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles in October and November of 1978. 

The album was released on April 5, 1979 and made it to #20 on the Billboard charts.

To date Evolution has been certified 3X Platinum (+3,000,000 albums sold).
