One of the greatest rock albums ever! A lot of changes with this album. Anysley is replaced with Steve Smith and Steve Perry really takes center stage. The band photo proves it: Perry is billed as "Lead Vocals", whereas Gregg Rolie is billed simply as "Keyboards". This is odd, since he was still very instrumental with the vocals, especially on "Just the Same Way". He should have been billed as "Keyboards/Vocals", in my opinion. Also, and this may be a '70's thing, Ross Valory is billed as "Bass Guitar" and Neal as "Lead Guitar". No one says Bass Guitar anymore, it's just "Bass". And Neal's the only guitar player, so no need for "Lead". I think it was probably just a leadership title that Neal wanted.
