Journey on CBS 2 On The Town in 1982

Journey's appearance on the local CBS station's "2 On The Town" included Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain

Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain did an interview segment on a Television News Magazine Program in 1982. Melody Rogers hosted the show and showed off Neal's new car. This was an excellent piece that gives out some unknown information about the plans of the band at the time. Escape was a catastrophic album that was destined for outer space. Neal Shows off his car and talks about his Guitar collection, Jonathan Cain talks about what it's like to be the newest member of the band and what it was like for him moving to San Francisco. This is a lost gem from the local Los Angeles CBS station, KNXT called "2 On The Town" and was hosted by Melody Rogers.

Journey's War On MTV Music Videos

 Journey's War On MTV Music Videos

Journey didn't make any Music Videos for the Raised On Radio album and everybody was on their back. MTV created a "War on video" thing with Journey to try and force them to make some videos for the album.

Here's 2 great interview segments presented by MTV VJ, Mark Goodman. Steve Perry, Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain talk about the situation in the video below;

 Journey on "Live At Five" in 1986

I found another great interview from 1986! This one is from Sue Simmons in New York. This is a great interview, where again the band has to defend themselves against the backlash from not making any Music Videos for the album "Raised On Radio". The interview last about 5 minutes. Enjoy!!!

Here's a strange interview with Journey in 1986. Steve Perry, Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain were guests on Good Morning America. They talk about their latest album release, "Raised On Radio". They also talk about breaking up and getting back together.

This video is from 1986 and the quality isn't good but it's all we have. It's worth a view.

Jelly Roll Sweetie

 Journey's "Homemade Love" is talked about in this mini-Interview / Music Video. Steve Perry and Gregg Rolie of Journey were guests on Jim Ladd's "Innerview" series in 1980. Steve and Gregg explain the meaning of the lyrics,  "Jelly Roll Sweetie" from the song "Homemade Love".

I decided that a Journey Channel is just going to have to have some Journey music, it doesn't make sense otherwise. This video also includes a Music Video of "Homemade Love" which is an excerpt of Journey live at Nakano Sun-plaza In Tokyo, Japan on 10-13-1980.

Journey's Steve Perry Sing-a-longs at the Giants Games in 2014 and World Series win

In 2014, Steve Perry became very active all of a Sudden. He first started showing up doing the Encore and a few EEL's shows in May and June. Then he starts bringing the crowds at the Giants games in October some extra excitement when he sings along with his own Journey songs, "Don't Stop Believin'', and "Lights", which was written about the San Francisco Bay.

Here is a compilation of edited videos of each of the sing-a-longs that Steve Perry participated in during the San Francisco Giants run for the World Series in 2014. First we see the Giants Video Introduction then the National League Division and Championship games that Steve was involved with. Then comes two World Series games sing-a-longs where Steve sings to both "Don't Stop Believin'", and "Lights". Finally the win and Steve meeting people at the Victory Parade on October 31, 2014...
