Happy New Year 2024 from Wheel In The Sky

Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And the days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll drink a cup of kindness yet
For the sake of auld lang syne
And surely you will buy your cup
And surely I'll buy mine!
We'll take a cup of kindness yet
For the sake of auld lang syne
We two have paddled in the stream
From morning sun till night
The seas between us Lord and swell
Since the days of auld lang syne
For old acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind
Should old acquaintance be forgot
For the sake of auld lang syne?
For old acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind
Should old acquaintance be forgot
In the days of auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We'll drink a cup of kindness yet
For the sake of auld lang syne

Journey Force Newsletter from November 1987 part II - Neal Schon's Wedding

This week in The Journey Force Newsletter from November 1987 is a whole page dedicated to Neal Schon's Wedding to Beth Buckley on September 20th, 1987.

There is also a picture of Neal and Beth with Randy Jackson with his wife, Liz.

The highlight I'm sure for these brides maids was when Steve Perry sang "Let It Be Me" for the happy couple...

Steve Perry sings "Happy Birthday, Brian" to The Mark & Brian Program 5-05-1989

The Mark & Brian Show was an American radio talk show hosted by Mark Thompson and Brian Phelps, known on the air as "Mark & Brian."

On May 5, 1989 Steve Perry, an old friend of both Mark and Brian called in to wish Brian Phelps a happy 30th birthday. He also sang an original song Steve wrote for Brian.

I've been able to cobble together a couple pieces of this phone call together in order to create this video...

"And The Band Played On" Live in Passaic, New Jersey on June 10, 1978

At The Capital Center in Passaic New Jersey on June 10, 1978 Journey got up on stage a bit earlier than expected.

This concert was broadcast live through a radio station which wasn't quite ready for the band to go on stage. An excellent concert altogether which lasted 1 1/2 hours long

This audio clip here is a very rare recording of the confusion caused between the radio station and the band when Journey takes the stage to perform the first song of the night, "La Do Da"...

Journey's "Oh, Holy Night" instrumental song from 1984

To kick off the first song I'm placing on the new "Rare" page. This page will feature unreleased or rare versions of songs by Journey or Steve Perry.

The first song is an instrumental that was given out to Journey Fan Club members who came in second prize in a contest back in December 1984.
