Drawing of Journey "Looking Forward from 1978"

I don't where I came across this, but there's a great drawing of Journey including Gregg Rolie and Aynsley Dunbar...

  1. This is really cool. It looks like some sort of Columbia Records promotional piece. Star Wars meets MAD magazine illustration.

    From left to right:
Cafe Jacques: a Scottish band that disbanded in 1978.
Hounds: a 1978 Metal band akin to Spinal Tap.
Elvis Costello, Eddie Money, Judas Priest: still around today.
Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush: I used to stay up late and watch Don Kirshner's Rock Concert in the late '70's and early '80's hoping that this was actually 'Rush'. But, sadly, it never was.
Karla Bonoff: music similar to Linda Ronstadt.
Journey: Whatever happened to these guys?
Walter Egan: best known for his 1978 hit "Magnet and Steel" later featured in 'Boogie Nights'.
